Premier League MW 31
Brentford 0 vs. 0 Brighton
Both teams cancelled each other out in this game as neither side could score a goal. Brentford remain 15th while Brighton remain ninth in the table.
Arsenal 2 vs. 0 Luton Town
Odegaard scored in the 24th minute and Hashioka scored an own goal before half time to give Arsenal a two goal lead. Luton did not have a reply on the night. Arsenal go a point clear at the top of the table with Liverpool to play tonight.
Man City 4 vs. 1 Aston Villa
Rodri scored in the 11th minute to give City the lead but Duran equalised for Villa in the 20th minute. Foden restored City’s lead before half time and score two more goals in the second half to complete his hattrick and City’s win. City remain third in the table and go level on points with Liverpool and a point behind Arsenal. Villa remain fourth but are now firmly in a top four race.
Coppa Italia - Semi-final (1st Legs)
Fiorentina 1 vs. 0 Atalanta
Fiorentina won last night thanks to a goal from Rolando Mandragora whose name would fit right into a Harry Potter book. Atalanta are not out of the fixture by any means but Fiorentina have something to hold on to in the second leg.
DFB Pokal - Semi-final
Bayer Leverkusen 4 vs. 0 Dusseldorf
A straight forward win for Leverkusen to book their place in the DFB Pokal final and continue their unbeaten run. Frimpong, Adli, and two goals from Wirtz were enough on the night.
Coupe De France - Semi-final
Paris Saint Germain 1 vs. 0 Rennes
A narrow win for PSG thanks to a goal from Mbappe in the 40th minute as they set up a meeting with Lyon in the Coupe De France final.

Premier League MW 31
Liverpool vs. Sheffield United
Liverpool sit second in the table with two games in hand as they take on Sheffield United who are rock bottom with two games in hand as well. Sheffield United have drawn their last two games but Liverpool are flying high and chasing the title. All I can see is a big win for Liverpool and if Sheffield United get a point or more at Anfield it will be a huge upset. Liverpool won the reverse fixture 0-2.
Chelsea vs. Man United
Chelsea sadly sit 12th in the table as they take on sixth placed Manchester United. Chelsea do have three games in hand though and a win tonight could take them up to 10th with two games in hand and five points behind Manchester United. United have two games in hand but are nine points behind Tottenham who are fifth, a win would reduce that gap to six.
In 2013 this would have been one of the great fixtures between the two top teams in the league. United have not won a Premier League since then while Chelsea’s last major trophy was the Champions League in 2021. Now both teams are nowhere near the top and uncertainty surrounds both of them. United have Ten Hag in charge and are going through a restructuring process under INEOS’s new ownership.
Chelsea fans are into their second year with Todd Boehly and co in charge and into their third full time manager in that tenure. Pochettino is yet to inspire the Chelsea faithful and performances blow hot and cold depending on the mood. Ben Chilwell seems to be out of this game so I expect Petrovic in goal with a back four of Gusto, Disasi, Chalobah, and Cucurella. Enzo and Caicedo should start in midfield with Gallagher while Mudryk, Palmer and Jackson should start up front. Madueke could also start in place of Mudryk while Sterling is also an option. Chukwuemeka is back fit as well.
Chelsea have not beaten United in the league since 2017 and United won the reverse fixture 2-1. I don’t know what is going to happen but as always COME ON CHELSEA!!!
