Champions League - Quarter-finals (1st Legs)
Arsenal 2 vs. 2 Bayern Munich
Saka scored in the 12th minute to give Arsenal the lead. Gnabry equalised for Bayern in the 18th minute after a mistake from Raya and a quick counter attack. Kane gave Bayern the lead in the 32nd minute, converting a penalty. Trossard equalised for Arsenal in the 76th minute and neither team could find the winner. With the away goals rule no longer existing draws in the first legs don’t have any consequence. Bayern will now head into the second leg at the Allianz Arena to play what is essentially a one off game with a home advantage. There were no Bayern fans present at the Emirates last night and Arsenal missed a chance to take advantage.
Real Madrid 3 vs. 3 Man City
Bernardo Silva scored in the second minute to give Manchester City the lead. Dias scored an own goal in the 12th minute to equalise for Real Madrid and Rodrygo put Madrid ahead with a goal two minutes later. Foden equalised for City in the 66th minute and Gvardiol put City ahead in the 71st minute. Valverde equalised for Real in the 79th minute and similar to other game neither team could find the winner. Advantage Manchester City as they are in a similar position to Bayern Munich. It was a brilliant game of end to end football though.

Champions League - Quarter-finals (1st Legs)
Paris Saint Germain vs. Barcelona
PSG sit clear at the top of Ligue 1 as they take on Barcelona who sit second in La Liga. Both teams are unbeaten in their last five games but PSG have drawn three of those. Neither team is at their historic best at the moment but this is Mbappe’s last season at PSG. Xavi is also on his way out as Barcelona manager so it should be an evenly matched game of football.
Atletico Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund
Atletico sit fourth in La Liga having lost two of their last five games while Dortmund sit fifth in the Bundesliga having lost one of their last five. Dortmund are the team in better form over the last five games but overall they are evenly matched on paper. Either team will be more than happy to book a place in the semi-finals.
