Groups C and D tonight!
Group C
Poland vs. Argentina
Poland lead the group with four points while Argentina sit second in the group with three points. A win for Poland sends them into the next round while a draw would also be enough for the European team. A loss could see Poland through if Mexico narrowly won their or drew against Saudi Arabia. A win for Argentina would send them through while a draw would be enough if Mexico won by just a goal or drew against Saudi Arabia. A loss would not be enough for Argentina and it would get them knocked out of the World Cup. A big game, Lewandowski against Messi.
Saudi Arabia vs. Mexico
A win for Saudi Arabia will send them into the next round. A draw would be enough for Saudi if Argentina lose their game. A loss would not be enough and they would be knocked out. A win for Mexico is the only way they stand a chance of going through. They also have to win by a three to four goal margin. Saudi will know that the cards are in their hands and Mexico have a mountain to climb. It will feel like another big home game for Saudi Arabia.
Group D
Tunisia vs. France
Tunisia stand a chance of reaching the Round of 16 but first and foremost they have to beat France which is a tough task. If they somehow manage to beat France then they would need Australia and Denmark to draw their game. France are already through and will take this chance to rest players and give others a chance.
Australia vs. Denmark
Australia sit second in the group with three points and Denmark sit third with one point. A win for Australia would send them through along with France while a draw would be enough if France beat Tunisia. A loss would not be enough. A win for Denmark would be enough to send them through if France beat Tunisia but if Tunisia win then Denmark have to have the better goal difference to qualify. A draw would not be enough and neither would a loss. Australia just cant afford to lose while all the pressure is on Denmark to get three points.
